Josh is a native of Greenville, NC. He attends school at North Carolina Central University where he studies Parks and Recreation Management.

He's been writing since the age of 11 and recording for 5 years.

When I asked him why he does music, he said, "I write and record music to help me express feelings and situations. I write to uplift and inspire others as well. Most of my music seemingly comes from a life diary and experiences that I've seen first hand."

Biggest influence/inspiration?

"Biggest influences is probably Drake and just the whole OVO style/crew as far as producing goes, but lyrically & flow wise, I study Wale while staying in my own lane not trying to sound like him."

Josh is currently working on his first full project 'One time when' and says it's looking like it'll be a summer release.

"Really have a lot of people pushing this and a lot people waiting on this so this is definitely new for me. I'm my biggest critic, I have so much unreleased music due to me not being satisfied with the production. So I just let it sit until the writers block is over."
