Strange is a Junior at ECU and a Theater Arts Major: Design and Production with a concentration in Scene Design. He is an active member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., ECU Emerging New Talent and Peoples Comedy Club. He also serves as Technical Director for SAB’s Entertainment Committee and is Street Team Leader for SAB’s Promotions Committee.

Strange said he developed a love for drawing around the age of 6 and started taking art more seriously in middle school when his 7th grade teacher noticed his talent. Though he continued drawing, it wasn’t until he was introduced to free/abstract painting in Art IV during his senior year of high school that he started liking his own art.

He is still excited to be doing free/abstract paintings here at ECU in his scene painting class because it helps him express his feelings and thoughts without words.
