Jonathan Peralta, also known as J-Alta is an ECU Alumni. While at ECU, JP was president of Yacht Club and Kappa Alpha Psi. He also worked at WZMB and was treasurer of the National Association of Black Accountants.

He has done interviews with our local newspaper, The East Carolinian, and a radio station out of Wilmington, NC. His biggest influences are Joe Budden, J. Cole and Drake.

J-Alta has performed in Greenville, Statesville, and Atlanta, Georgia as part of the BET Hip Hop Awards. Since July, he has released 7 remixes, 2 singles, and a music video. In Just 4 months! We salute your grind, J-Alta.
